The aim of the African Developers Conference is to enhance the engagement of African software engineers in the world of technology. It seeks to create a strong community of entrepreneurial African programmers who possess the potential to instigate real changes and put Africa on the map.
The African Developers Conference was initiated in response to the growing number of software engineers in the African tech scene who lack the opportunity to engage. The convention will offer a dynamic platform for emerging thought leaders and self starters looking to share knowledge, expand their perspectives and enrich their experiences.
We envision African Developers Conference becoming an official annual convention that celebrates and promotes Africa’s tech ecosystem. It will pave new paths and smooth out the existing ones while encouraging ambitious tech talents to inspire the creation and development of innovative initiatives.
When you sponsor AfriDevCon you will be able to build brand awareness and are able to showcase your platform, Startup, organization or company. Customized sponsorship packages may include digital and print advertising, exhibiting mailing lists, and more
Make connections and engage in conversation with key decision-makers eager to learn how your company or organization can help them meet their goals. African developer conference is an effective way to build relationships, gain leads, introduce new products and services, and expand sales.
On the opening day of the conference, various notable tech hubs from around Ethiopia will organize special events that will be memorable contributions to the convention. Due recognition will be given to speakers and benefactors while guests network with peers and influential figures.
The first day of the conference is dedicated to software developers, STEM university students, tech professionals and enthusiasts. During the developer’s day, successful tech professionals will showcase their work and lead presentations, workshops, panel discussions and demos to share their stories and expertise.
Technopreneurs Day is a startup pitch and demo event where we give selected tech leaders, entrepreneurs and startups a chance to pitch to top tier investors, customers, and government partners. The purpose is to provide the participating startups with world-class feedback, prizes, and potential investment. We will bring together global investors, founders, and startup enthusiasts to witness the future of Africa.
